Durgen first met Vallen ~50 years ago, and at the time he said he was turned into a vampire 330 years prior. Which means Vallen was turned into a vampire 380 years ago, so he’s 410 now.

Vallen makes reference to how Cordelia has a lot going on for her — she’s engaged, has a party, etc.
She says that she’s not sure if she wants to get engaged, and Vallen says that she should
Cordelia counters, and says that she feels like she hasn’t done enough with her life yet. She wants to be free and read what she wants
Vallen advises her to cut things off then, and not string Julian along
Cordelia waffles, saying that she doesn’t know. Vallen says that if she wasn’t going to do it two months ago, why would she do it now?
Vallen takes another puff from his cig

Vallen: “Delia… I can’t do that. If you haven’t noticed my track record, I outlive every. single. person. I met my ex-husband when he was in his 20s. I met my wife when she was in her 20s. Vallen: “You are very kind, but I cannot do that to you. Besides, I should be dead as of 10 years ago. And yes, I already knew that — but I wasn’t going to tell anybody, but then you did the maths.”
Cordelia apologizes for putting him in that position
Vallen tells her that - after all the comments she’s made - he’s known
Cordelia excuses herself, saying that she should go. Instead of going back into the tavern, she wanders into the night.
Vallen lingers for a while, smoking (and trying to enjoy) his cigarette, before he heads back inside

Julian WAKES UP
He wants to find Cordelia!! He knows she went outside, but isn’t told that she went outside with Vallen
He goes to find Cordelia! (him as he stands up ⇒🧍♂️)
Vallen walks back inside, BEELINES it to the bar, and avoids eye contact with the gang
Camille goes over to talk to him (NOTE: IZZIE COULDN’T TAKE THOROUGH NOTES BUT I THINK I GOT EVERYTHING??)
THEY TALK ABOUT RELATIONSHIPS
Vallen tells Camille that he doesn’t really “do” relationships anymore — everyone who he gets into a relationship with dies
Camille says that he might not have to see THEM die, since they don’t know how long Changelings live
Camille says that that’d be a sad life to live, and that - even though people are destined to pass at some point - it’d be better to have the time and memories spent with loved ones rather than an empty life spent wondering about what could have been
Vallen says that he wants to die before the party, but Camille says they don’t want that to happen
Something something Camille says that if everyone in the party dies at the same time, then nobody will be left behind to be sad :]
They ask if he has romantic or friendly feelings for Cordelia
He doesn’t know her well enough for that yet! But he definitely likes her :]
Vallen mentions something about OSIRIS, and Camille’s like “I’ll uh — NEVERMIND we should go dancing 😀!”
Outside, with Cordelia and Julian
Cordelia is sitting on a stone ledge, overlooking the water. Julian walks up!
He asks her what happened, mentioning that he passed out.
Cordelia asks Julian how old he is
He says he “sees [her] point”
Cordelia apologizes, saying that it’s an inappropriate time. Julian says that he understands, and that he “kinda saw it coming, for the both of us”
Julian mentions that their parents put them together, and that they don’t ACTUALLY know each other
Cordelia says that they have a long ways to go in terms of their adventure
She thinks that the last thing she wants is for there to be animosity between them — she DOES still have love for him in her heart
Julian says he’s 24. Cordelia responds with telling him that she’s 21
Julian says that they should make an effort to learn about each other, and MAYBE they can come back to this topic
They basically mutually friendzone each other 💀
Julian: “So… Vallen? I didn’t know you were into older men.”
Cordelia says that she doesn’t really know what she wants, and that having the freedom to figure out what she wants would be good for her
Julian says that he’s not going to leave the party, since he literally committed treason/abandoned his post for this. Also Cordelia bought him armor

She greets him, and tells him that “I did it”
SHE TAKES OFF HER ENGAGEMENT RING AND PUTS IT IN HER BAG
She apologizes again, saying that she used the wrong wording. She never actually said relationship, she said experience
SHE TAKES OUT A LETTER FROM HER BAG, SLIDING IT OVER TO HIM.
“So really, that’s the only regret I have.”

We all fall asleep after our night of fun!!
We look around, and it appears to be some kind of dark cathedral (imagine a dark Catholic church). Everything is black, very gothic.
The roof appears to be torn away, and stars speckle the sky. Nebulas glimmer in the distance
Julian is there as well (so all of us are here)
We’re standing on a platform. There are a set of stairs, and are curtains hanging down from nothing (since the ceiling was blown off)
In the middle, above the stairs, is a throne.
On that throne is the figure from Camille’s dream
HE’S SITTING PUSSY OUT. STILL WEARING THE MIRROR-LIKE MASK. WHITE HAIR FLOWS DOWN BEHIND HIM, THE SAME COLORED WHITE HAIR FROM A CHANGELING
The rubble and little rocks around us float
He leans forward
“Seekers… Fitting name, unfortunately. Welcome to my domain. You can speak freely, by the way.”
He forced our astral projections to his realm so we can talk to him
Camille asks why, especially with everyone else. He responds “Because it’s fun, Camille.”
He admits that we’re annoyingly good at what we do - partially because of the Curator.
He says that maybe - just maybe - our destiny crosses HIS path
He says he has a favor to ask us, and when Kaya grumbles about it, he says that she will love it
He asks us to kill OSIRIS
He’s not associated with Loki, saying that she’s stepped out of line and needs to be punished
Dr. Pope and his toys are annoying him. They are thousands, and are more of a hurdle. We are only five people, and are more of a gnat.
He wants us to bring the Pyramid to him after we kill OSIRIS
HE ADMITS TO BEING THE FATHER
He says that if we bring him the Pyramid, nobody from our kingdom will die
When he asks if the mission is clear, Cal OBJECTS
He clarifies that - if our kingdom is spared - will the other kingdoms be affected? The answer is yes.
Cal says that everyone has the right to live, and Cordelia agrees.
The Father says that this is HIS world, and that we are a pestilence on it
Kaya asks about race stuff
The Father clarifies that tieflings are half devils. So one came from hell, fucked someone, and left.
The Father says that humans were the first pest to be put on “my world”
“Not yours, my world”
He does not care for humans, and doesn’t want them there
The Father addresses Quén by their true name, and for the first time they speak up
They ask him not to call them by that name (their true name)
They say that they don’t believe they’re a changeling, which is when The Father reveals that Quén is a true changeling — which are essentially creatures who can turn into other races, take their abilities, etc. (like a True Polymorph spell)
Cal is like “well we tried to kill OSIRIS before, but he just came back”
The Father reveals that Dr. Pope connected OSIRIS’s soul to the Pyramid, so if we kill him with the Pyramid inside of him, we can kill him for good.
Also The Father is like “You have a warforged head, don’t you? Just listen.”
