Picking back up in South Haran

  • Camille asks Cal and Kaya to join them in getting rooms for the night, leaving Cordelia alone with Julian and Vallen (LMAO)
    • Kaya speculates that there is scheming afoot (she’s correct)
    • Cordelia is sitting BETWEEN Julian and Vallen
  • CCK DISCUSS THE LOGISTICS OF ROOMS
    • Camille suggests that Cordelia might have a difficult time broaching certain topics with Julian, so sharing a room for the night might help give them the privacy they need to do that
    • Kaya pays for the rooms for the night (the barkeep’s name is Betty) and we all get a free bottle of wine for each room (4 bottles/rooms total!)
  • Things are SO awkward back with Cordelia, Julian, and Vallen
    • They speculate on the weather and how many rooms might be available (they think there are plenty more rooms)
  • Camille comes back and breaks the news that we have 4 rooms for the night
    • KAYA LIES AND SAYS THAT’S ALL THAT WAS AVAILABLE
    • Cordelia and Julian fail on insight against Kaya, but Vallen rolls a NAT 20
    • Camille hands Cordelia the key to her room, gives her a little thumbs up (👍)
  • Julian asks Cordelia if he should sleep outside — he has a bedroll!
    • Cordelia says it’s alright, and that she doesn’t want anyone getting sick
    • THEY GO TO THE ROOM AND THERE’S ONLY ONE BED (ALSO A CUCK CHAIR LMAO)
  • Vallen asks why he’s bunking with Cal (Cal takes offense to this)
    • He says that this was the only option with two beds and ROLLS OVER AND IMMEDIATELY GOES TO SLEEP

Winding down for the night

In each room

  • Cal IMMEDIATELY passes out (family guy death pose on the bed)
  • Camille tries to shove a book underneath Cal and Vallen’s door (fails miserably) (gets caught) (frowny face)
    • It’s called 20,000 Leagues in the Sky
    • Camille says that they wanted to sneak the book into Vallen’s bag, except it’s kinda hard when he’s super observant and never sleeps. Vallen’s like “you could’ve just asked me??” Camille’s like “damn u got a point”
    • They ask him how he’s doing. Vallen says “I’ve been better”. Camille asks if he wants to talk about it (he does, and says that they can go to Camille’s room)
  • Kaya IMMEDIATELY breaks into her bottle of wine, and gets to crafting with her clay
    • Makes a few more hands and a hammer!!
  • Cordelia is sitting at the edge of the bed STIFF AS A BOARD
    • Julian’s sitting in the cuck chair 😭 sipping on wine (he passes Cordelia the bottle when she asks)

Cordelia and Julian talk

  • Julian confesses that Vallen “hyped her up” while they were drinking on the ship
  • Julian says that they don’t know each other — not very well, at least
    • BUT HE’D LIKE TO GET TO KNOW HER!!! LOVE WINS
    • Cordelia’s like “we are engaged” — they agree that neither of them had much of a choice in the matter, despite being engaged now
  • Cordelia also says that they’re both technically traitors of their country
    • Julian’s like “ok but ur on a mission, so technically I’m the traitor to our country”
    • THEN CORDELIA’S LIKE “WE CAN BE TRAITORS TO OUR COUNTRY TOGETHER” OMGGG 🥰
  • Cordelia asks if Julian’s fully considered everything that’s happened. Julian’s like “not really”
    • Cordelia talks about her general lack of worldly experience. Being from the Capital, this has been her first big adventure
    • Julian says that he’s also from the Capital!
      • His father didn’t want him in any magic classes, so he attended military-related classes instead
      • Due to his education, he’s a front-liner!
      • After the banquet, he didn’t really know what to do (he was “caught between a rock and a hard place, bit in the ass”). He says he was engaged to someone, but infatuated with someone else
        • “Imagine my surprise when that person turned out to be the person I was engaged to”
        • CORDELIA’S LIKE “I FELT MUCH THE SAME WAY”!!!

Camille and Vallen talk

For this section, Camille will be referred to as Quén

  • Vallen says that - ever since the fight with OSIRIS and the Orb was there - he hasn’t been feeling that well
    • Not that he’s hurting, but his brain feels foggy. he doesn’t know what came over him during that battle, but he can now stutter through space (+ can do the force field stuff)
      • He couldn’t do any of that shit before the Orb showed up!!
    • Quén sympathizes with him :( that’s rough buddy
  • The following notes for this section are paraphrased from Corinthia’s written notes (thank u girlie <3)
  • Quén admits that they’re on the verge of doing something they know is stupid, but claims that things might work out so long as they play their cards right
    • Vallen presses the issue, and Quén confesses that they’ve been thinking about their conversation with the man from their dream — specifically the part about praying to Asmodeus
    • They know it’s dangerous (Asmodeus is literally called the “Father of Lies” 💀), but doing so could give them a chance at bringing their brother back
      • They also mention that they know their brother wouldn’t be happy being brought back this way, but they “have to try”
    • Also they reason that if they can somehow read between the lines and see through Asmodeus’s lies, they MIGHT be able to discern something about their past or what the Changelings are planning
  • APPARENTLY VALLEN ALREADY KNEW QUÉN WAS GONNA TRY AND PULL SOME SHIT LIKE THIS? AND THAT’S WHY HE INVITED HIMSELF TO THEIR ROOM?? SNEAKY BASTARD!!
    • Wait he says that he has their best interests at heart :( aw 🥺 I love this guy
    • Quén once again says that they “have to try”
  • Vallen tells Quén a story
    • He had a child with his wife! He loved them very much :]
    • When his wife passed, he had the ability to bring her back (implied: as a vampire), but he didn’t because it was her time to go
      • When Quén asks about her, Vallen says that her name was Safiyah.. she was beautiful :(
  • Quén poorly explains that - if Camille was brought back - he could just take their place on the adventure

  • Quén turns back to the idea of praying to Asmodeus, and tries to say that if things go wrong, Vallen’s right there and he could just snap them out of it or something
    • Vallen’s like ”🤨 and why would you do that to yourself”

    • VALLEN THEN FOLLOWS UP WITH “If you get hurt, who would be left to remember Camille?”

  • Quén concedes and chooses not to pray to Asmodeus tonight (thank god 😭🙏 thank u sm Vallen ur a real one)
  • RANDOM LORE DROP. QUÉN ASKS VALLEN NOT TO MENTION THEM OR USE THEIR REAL NAME AROUND THEIR MOM BECAUSE SHE THINKS THAT QUÉN IS THE ONE THAT DIED INSTEAD OF CAMILLE 😭💀 THIS FAMILY DYNAMIC GO CRAZY!!!

  • Quén requests that Vallen stay with them for the night because they’re afraid they might still do something stupid tonight — Vallen says yes :]

  • Vallen sits in the cuck chair and starts reading
    • Quén pulls out a SECOND book (a second book has hit the building 💀💀💀)
    • They mumble about not knowing what kinds of books he likes, and that they learned about these (20,000 Leagues in The Sky and Juju’s Unusual Journey) because they were left behind by patrons at their old inn
    • Vallen takes both books :] the homies stay winning
  • Quén’s ass does NOT stop talking 😭 pack it up king we’re done here
    • They apologize for their rambling, saying that Vallen made them feel very seen and they feel weird/aren’t sure what to do with themselves
  • They say goodnight :]

Morning comes

  • When Camille wakes up, Vallen is no longer in the room
    • Vallen is also not in Cal’s room
  • Cordelia wakes up, stretches, and rolls over to face Julian
    • For a SPLIT second, Julian’s face looks just like Vallen’s. But then she blinks, and it’s Julian’s face again
    • JULIAN’S SHIRTLESS (Lily comes at this)
    • Julian’s like “good morning 😏” at Cordelia (smug bastard kinda energy)
  • Cal and Kaya discuss getting order-in breakfast and treating Cordelia and her ✨lover✨ to breakfast in bed
    • RIGHT as they’re about to knock on Cordelia’s door, Julian’s like “we should probably get dressed”
  • Camille casts [Augury] to determine if praying to Asmodeus would go well
    • IMMEDIATE RESULTS ARE SO BAD
  • When we meet up, we realize that Vallen isn’t there
    • Casting [Message] doesn’t receive a response, and when Camille tries to use the sending phone to contact him, they realize that the runes on it don’t light up when they speak into it
  • CAL MAKES A TOAST TO SEX
    • NOBODY GIVES A SHIT
  • Camille casts [Sending] on Vallen
    • They ask if he’s okay, and that they can’t reach him through any other means — there’s NO response
  • Camille casts [Augury] to see if we find Vallen
    • The results are IMMEDIATELY BAD omg
  • Cordelia asks where Vallen was the night before. Camille says that he was with them, and keeping an eye on them so they “wouldn’t do anything stupid”
    • Cordelia’s like 👀😏 at that
  • Cal suggests that we “phone a friend” and reach out to the Keeper
    • Using the sending phone results in the same “rune lights off” results
  • We go outside
    • Camille tells the party that the rings they passed out several days ago have a second feature: by speaking the name of someone else who has a matching ring, they will be able to know what direction that person is (given that they’re within 120 feet)
    • Camille suggests that we each go in the cardinal direction, with everyone being alone but Julian joins Cordelia

Searching for Vallen

Cal goes north

  • Rolls a 4 on Perception
    • Sees a rabbit just straight up STARING at him 👁️👁️
    • He walks over to the rabbit
  • The rabbit runs away from Cal and CLIPS THROUGH A WALL??
    • Cal tries to follow, SLAMS into the wall and falls flat on his ass (“FUCK”)

Kaya goes south

  • At the same time that Cal sees the rabbit, Kaya looks down the road and sees the buildings/road wobble a little before they straighten up again
    • She’s weirded out but keeps walking
    • She reaches out and touches the wiggling wall, running her hand across it as she walks by. It feels just like a normal stone wall would, with nothing specific standing out to her
  • She does not see Vallen anywhere

Cordelia goes west

  • Julian is with her!
  • Perception (with disadvantage??)
    • NAT 1 D:
    • She’s too focused on Julian to notice anything else.. oh god
  • JULIAN IS ALSO TOO FOCUSED ON CORDELIA
  • GUYS PLEASE
  • WE MUST STAY FOCUSED BROTHERS!!!!

Camille goes east

  • Camille speaks Vallen’s name into their ring every so often, and stops a passer-by to ask if they’ve seen him
    • They haven’t, but they say they wish they had
    • Camille rolls Insight, gets the vibe that the person is “not all there”
  • They stop another person, get the same vibe/response
    • Ask them how their day has been, weird pause and generic response
    • They try to ask this person’s name, they immediately say goodbye
  • THE VIBES ARE SUS AND OFF!!!
  • They keep on going, keeping an eye out for Vallen but also any other weird goings-on

Back to Cal (1)

  • Casts [Eldritch Blast] on the wall
    • It’s an instant hit. The same force with the regular [Eldritch Blast], BUBBLES burst out of his hand and slam into the wall (“FUCK”)
  • He’s like “I know who would have the answer to this” AND STARTS PRAYING TO THE RAVEN QUEEN AGAIN
    • He asks for help, saying that “shit’s a little fucky” and that he’s not sure what’s happening
    • He also asks more about the contractl, asking after the “third party” and about how he can’t fuck. Also tells her to fuck herself
    • HE GETS NO RESPONSE!!

Back to Kaya (1)

  • She ALSO sees a rabbit
  • It’s staring at her.. looking 👁️👁️
    • Nobody else passing by acknowledges the rabbit
    • She chooses to have a staring contest with the rabbit
      • Her eyes start to water omg
      • CON CHECK: 8 (she blinks)
  • As she blinks, the rabbit bolts STRAIGHT AT HER?!?!?
    • She gets into a defensive position
    • It slips between her legs and goes right behind her
  • Kaya runs after the rabbit!

Back to Cordelia (1)

  • Perception (dirty 20)
    • Looking behind Julian, she sees that the roof of one of the buildings is like, doubled-up and unaligned in a way that doesn’t make sense
  • Cordelia gently pushes Julian aside to get a better look, and focuses on herself to feel the ebb and flow of magic in the area
    • Perception (19): magic feels off. This is the same kind of feeling she has when she’s in a dream
  • Cordelia asks Julian if he feels off, at which moment he notices the weird roof
    • She says she’s going to try something, and pulls a card from her tarot deck (Temperance)
    • Julian’s shirt rips on both sides, AND HE GROWS AN EXTRA SET OF ARMS?!?!?!? LMAO 😭😭😭
      • JUST TO BE CLEAR THIS IS WHAT THE CARD IS SUPPOSED TO DO!!!
      • Julian freaks out a little and all of a sudden the arms disappear

Back to Camille (1)

  • THEY HEAR A SCREAM
    • Insight: NAT 20
    • It’s Julian??
    • They call out to him and ask if he’s okay (~10 seconds later, they hear him go “I HAVE TWO MORE ARMS THAN USUAL??” and then Cordelia’s like “THAT’S NOT A EUPHIMISM”)
  • They realize that - based on how far they’ve walked - they should be MUCH further than where they are now
    • They literally call out and tell Cordelia/Julian just that

Back to Cal (2)

  • Cal remembers that there was an “interested third party” mentioned in his contract, and chooses to lock in and reach out to them
  • “I don’t know who you are, and I don’t know what you want for me. But I know that I can’t accomplish it here. I need you to help me out. Give me a sign, point me in a direction. Help me achieve what you want me to achieve.”
    • Then he sits and listens
    • He feels a burning sensation on the back of his right hand
  • Looking down at his right hand, he sees an odd symbol
  • When he looks up, he finds himself standing RIGHT in front of the tavern
    • He walks right in!
    • THE TAVERN IS COMPLETELY EMPTY???
      • As he looks around, people begin popping into existence, populating the tavern and going about their normal business
  • He walks up to the bartender (it’s the same lady as last night!)
    • She asks what she can get him
    • “If there is anything in this world that I know that I could tell if it’s real or not… can I have some eggs?”
    • She leaves and returns after a few minutes with a handful of hard boiled eggs
      • THEY TASTE LIKE NOTHING!!

Back to Kaya (2)

  • She’s sprinting after the rabbit, and finds herself running towards the tavern
    • THE RABBIT RUNS INTO THE TAVERN WALL
      • AT THE SAME TIME. CAL SEES THE RABBIT PASS THROUGH THE TAVERN AND GO THROUGH THE OPPOSITE WALL
  • She bursts into the tavern and sees Cal shoveling eggs into his mouth
    • Cal IMMEDIATELY throws an egg at her and is like “are you real??”
  • THEY REALIZE THEY BOTH SAW A RABBIT
    • They also realize that the rabbit they saw can run through walls
    • They discuss whether or not they should go after the rabbit (inconclsive as of now)

Back to Cordelia (2)

  • Cordelia apologies for the sudden arms
  • Cordelia and Julian agree that Camille should sound farther away than they do, and agree that they should meet up with Camille
    • As they’re walking, Cordelia notices odd, repetitive patterns in the environment (kinda like how Pokemon textures repeat over and over)
  • They meet up with Camille!
    • Camille casts [Mending] on Julian’s shirt upon request, and they realize that the magic does feel off
    • Cordelia shares her theory that we’re in a dream
  • Cordelia’s deck of cards start to vibrate, and The Hermit bursts out, flying back in the direction of the tavern

The party meets back up!

  • As Cordelia and co. re-enter, they hear Kaya yelling about the rabbit
  • We debrief about what we’ve experienced!!
    • Cordelia shares her theory that we’re in a dream — magic doesn’t work right, Vallen isn’t here, and people are acting odd
  • Cal shares that he tried to pray to someone (he doesn’t know who) and his hand burned and an odd tattoo showed up
  • Julian suggests that he prays to Lathander
    • According to Lathander, we’re on a different plane of existence?? Btw he ALSO doesn’t know where Vallen is
  • As we discuss things, we notice that there’s a new figure sitting at the bar!
    • Camille taps him on the shoulder and he turns around
    • Cordelia recognizes his beard and hands from her dream!! (BALTHAZAR)
  • The man addresses Cordelia by name (her nickname specifically)
    • He tells us we’re in a dream (we know) and asks why she hasn’t been using the cards
  • The man asks (more like demands) that Cordelia pulls out The Fool
    • The front of the card turns into a mirror, and she sees her face reflected in it
    • HE SAYS “YOU ARE BEING A FOOL” OH MY GOD. this guy’s an asshole but he ate with that

Speaking with Balthazar

  • Walking through the tavern door, we look around and find ourselves in Wigson
    • There’s a little shack up a hill, Vallen is sitting in front of it!!
  • Camille RUNS up to Vallen, they immediately hug each other
    • Vallen tells us that IT’S BEEN A WEEK
    • He went to the bathroom (he had a lot to drink) AND WE WERE JUST GONE??? HE WENT THROUGH ALL OUR ROOMS AND WE JUST. POOFED!
    • Camille hugs him tighter
  • Balthazar breezes past the party, goes inside his house, and closes the door 😭
    • Every time someone knocks on the door, he says their full name and tells them to “go away” (so far it’s only Cordelia and Cal who knock and are addressed this way)
  • Balthazar opens the door (he has four pupils — two looking directly at her and looking in opposite directions) and is MEAN TO CORDELIA!!!
    • He tells her that she just pulls cards willy nilly - just hoping for the best - and that makes a mess of the Weave, leaving him to clean up after her
    • We’re like “bro why did you bring us to your damn house then. also you’re being mean” and he’s like “fuck you” (not really but that was the vibe — I forgot exactly what he said)
  • Balthazar tries to close the door on Cordelia. She puts her foot in the door so it doesn’t close all the way.
    • She’s like TEACH ME HOW TO USE THE CARDS and he’s like NO
    • He tries to tell her to abandon the cards and choose a different school of magic, accidentally saying “Celeste” instead of Cordelia’s name when warning her that she’s going to die if she continues down this path (he corrects himself)
      • Camille warns Balthazar that Cordelia will die if he doesn’t teach her, just like… 🫢 (just like Celeste. they don’t say that explicitly tho)
  • Balthazar gives up and walks inside, leaving his door wide open for us
    • Cal IMMEDIATELY follows. Cordelia shortly after
    • Camille is in the back holding Kaya and Vallen’s hands 😭 (Kaya is BITING HER TONGUE trying not to say some stupid shit rn)

Speaking with Balthazar fr!!

  • Inside Balthazar’s house, it is CLUTTERED with books, many of which are open
  • We recap a little with Vallen
    • He contacted the Keeper, who said that his magic cannot reach us in “the dreams”, but Balthazar could
    • It took him a day to convince Balthazar to fetch us
    • We only have a day left until we need to meet the team in Iron Forge!
  • Cordelia’s questions
    • The cards, what are they? (the Weave/they are a physical manifestation of the Weave)
    • Who made them? (the gods. not Mystra tho)
      • Karsus found the first tarot deck, before the Weave was limited
      • The cards pull on magic that is long dead, and predate the planet itself
    • How to use the cards!
      • Question ignored
  • Balthazar takes a closer look at the party
    • Camille is a Changeling (he says that they have an “interesting form”). They ask him a little about Asmodeus and the Father (doesn’t know about the Father)
    • Cal has the mark of “The Outsider” on him, and Balthazar is like??? because apparently The Outsider is a god who has been dead for a LONG time
    • Kaya’s original name ISN’T Kaya 👀🤔
      • He asks if we’ve met Alexios (we have). He mentions that Alexios “isn’t from this world”
      • She’s from the same place Alexios is from!!
    • We try to ask more questions, but Balthazar takes out a card (The Star) and looks at it before saying that we’re not ready for that information
  • Balthazar tries to kick us out
    • Cal is like “I’m done with this shit” and tries to knock a stack of books over
      • Balthazar pulls out a card, and a root comes out of the ground and trips Cal on his way out
      • Cal goes right outside the door, leaning against the wall there
  • Cordelia asks (more like states) that Balthazar can make the cards do what he wants
    • He’s like “yeah” and asks how she casts magic. Her answer will determine whether or not he chooses to teach/help her.
      • Also at some point he mentions the dream she had through his eyes, and mentions that it happened long before she was born
      • Cordelia mentions the stars, saying that magic ebbs and flows through her like carbon in the stars. She confesses that it’s easy for her, but also that the cards scare her
        • This is convincing enough for him? He says that he’ll teach her, but she should leave now and that he will teach her when the time is right
  • Balthazar says that - when Cordelia gets to be as old as he is - she will learn and realize a lot of things. The world needs her, but he does not. Not right now. She also does not need him right now.
    • He asks her if she’s ever had the feeling that she can see into the future sometimes — predict things before they’re going to happen. It’s not just keen observation, but her cards allow her to peer into the actual future
    • He also reassures her that her eyes won’t split into multiple pupils, not unless she wants them to.
  • Julian joins Cal outside :] (“kinda crazy shit in there” “yeah fuck this guy” “okay”)
    • Cal also asks if it’s pink down there
    • JULIAN’S LIKE ??? 😭 I DIDN’T LOOK THAT WAS MY FIRST TIME
  • Cordelia tries to insight Balthazar (18): he is not lying
  • Baltahzar walks over to a pile of books, slamming his staff down. A card flies out of his pocket, dissolving in front of him. The books dissolve into leaves which fly out the door. In its place is a stone door.
    • Balthazar asks to see the key (Camille hands it over) and Balthazar smacks it with a card. Now the key
  • As everyone else leaves, Cordelia and Vallen are the only ones left in the house. Balthazar whispers to Vallen: “I’ll be seeing you again”
    • Says it in an ominous way (as in he has more to speak to him about)
    • CORDELIA IS THE ONLY ONE WHO HEARS THIS

Traveling to Iron Forge

  • Camille asks if Vallen brought our food
    • He brought our left-behind belongings (we had most of our stuff with us)!! Like Kaya’s blanket
  • We notice that Cal’s taller than Vallen (he’s wearing platform heels!!)
  • CAMILLE FALLS FOR A “MIND GOBLIN” BIT
    • VALLEN IS VERY APOLOGETIC (IT WAS MEANT FOR CAL)
  • Camille asks what our plan is when we arrive to Iron Forge
  • Julian asks for clarification on what we’re doing
    • Camille explains a little about what we’re doing (going to Iron Forge to retrieve the Pyramid)
    • We also fill in Julian a little about Dr. Pope and the background there (that is relevant to him/the mission)
  • Cordelia’s walking in front of Vallen, and a letter falls out of her bag (it was open) and lands in front of him
    • Vallen rolls Insight to see if the letter drop was purposeful (25; it was not purposeful)
    • Vallen picks up the letter, tells Cordelia that she dropped it. She takes it back and thanks him
  • As we’re walking, JULIAN REACHES OUT AND HOLDS CORDELIA’S HAND
  • The gang rolls for Perception
    • Everyone but Julian passes 😭
    • We hear some voices (arguing voices?) just off the beaten path
  • Group stealth
    • We get to roll with advantage bcs we have the sneaky cloaks!!
    • We all pass!! We sneak through the woods for a good 5-10 minutes

Encounter Time

  • In a clearing, we see a few warforged talking back and forth
    • There is a larger one (standing off to the side), two smaller ones, and one that is slightly larger than the smaller ones (holding a greatsword).
    • There’s also a mage-looking one and one that looks like the first version of OSIRIS
    • THERE ARE 6 IN TOTAL
  • They’re talking amongst themselves, pointing at each other and at a fire pit (Perception to hear what they’re saying)
    • “That is not how you make a fire, you have to use the wood first and then make a spark”

      • Cordelia suggests caution, and to listen to the conversation a little more before we try to ambush them
      • But still positive on ambushing them!!
  • The greatsword warforged walks over, sticking its sword into the ground and creating a spark that lights a fire
  • The mage/cloaked warforged is leaning against at tree nearby, watching
    • The warforged that looks like OSIRIS is leaned up next to them, talking
  • Julian’s like “we should kill the heretics”
    • Camille is like ?!?!??
  • Camille hands Julian a healing potion, and suggests that we split up and spread out
  • Julian asks if he can leave (we’re like “ok go ahead king 👌” AND THEN HE WALKS UP TO THE WARFORGED???)
    • Cal signals to Cordelia “when they turn to attack me”
    • He’s out there with his shield and weapon like heeeeyyyyy
    • As soon as Julian has the attention of the warforged, he attacks with his Daggers of Returning (3 total)
      • He targets the mage

      • Attacks the mage warforged 3 times with his Daggers of Returning
  • ROUND 1
    • Cal
      • Attacks the mage again with his swords (beats the SHIT outta them)
    • Battlemaster Warforged
      • Takes a Legendary Action, commands the other warforged to attack. One pulls out a bow and arrow and another pulls out a crossbow
      • The crossbow hits Cal for 19 damage
      • As reaction, Cal casts [Hellish Rebuke], dealing 4 damage
    • Camille
      • Wishes Cal luck, tries to cast [Guiding Bolt] (IT’S A NAT 1 AND HITS JULIAN 😭😭😭)
      • As a bonus action, they pull out their dagger
      • Runs onto the field, away from the party
    • Vallen
      • A portal passes over him, and he appears in battle next to one of the smaller warforged (Assassin Warforged)
      • Deals 10 damage to the little guy
      • Looks around confused?? (bro’s NOT used to teleporting like that)
    • Crossbow Warforged
      • Takes a shot at Camille, misses (12)
    • Mage Warforged
      • Turns to Cal, [Firebolt] on him and deals 5 damage
    • Assassin Warforged 1
      • Slashes Vallen across the shoulder, dealing 8 damage
    • Kaya
      • Casts [Maximilian’s Earthen Grasp], shoving one of her clay hands into the ground (summoning an even BIGGER hand) and grasps one of the smaller warforged (the one that Vallen hasn’t attacked)
      • Deals 11 damage
    • Cordelia
      • Runs onto the battlefield (by 30 ft) and uses a bonus action to pull a card (The World)
      • A black hole forms, sucking every creature within 45 ft towards it (so like EVERYONE)
        • LITERALLY EVERYONE EXCEPT FOR THE PARTY FAILS
        • Julian reaches out with his shield, giving Kaya the opportunity to grab onto it
        • The Battlemaster Warforged succeeds, and grabs Cal by the collar, keeping him from falling in
        • The Mage Warforged flies past into the black hole
        • Camille manages to grab onto Julian’s leg 😭
    • Julian
      • Casts [Shield of Faith] on both Kaya and Camille, giving them both a +2 to their ACs
    • Battlemaster Warforged
      • Pulls Cal in, deals 5 damage as he hits with a kidney shot
  • ROUND 2
    • Cal
      • Tries to grapple the Battlemaster Warforged (succeeds!)
      • Misses both attacks (12 and a 10 to hit)
    • Camille
      • Casts [Spiritual Weapon] and sends a longsword made of light to Vallen (saying that they need to find him a new weapon soon)
      • Runs up to the Battlemaster Warforged, casts [Chill Touch] and deals 4 points of damage
    • Vallen
      • Takes Camille’s sword and deals 15 dmg to the Assassin Warforged
    • Crossbow Warforged
      • Runs past Cordelia to attack Kaya, Cordelia takes an AoO by casting [Firebolt], dealing a little damage
      • Fails to hit Kaya
    • Mage Warforged
      • Casts [Thunderwave], hitting Cordelia, Vallen, and some other Warforged
      • Cordelia passes, but everyone else is pushed 10 ft away (deals 12 damage to the other warforged LMAO)
      • The warforged that Vallen’s been attacking gets DUSTED
